  • biggest lying bastards of all time

First I have to say the person that came to my house was polite. But then he tells me that the 299 dollar pool they advertise isn't available with install here. So the advertisement is a lie. Then he trys to sell me an&18,000.00 pool. I tell him no way he brings the price to $8000.00 if I will allow them to bring prspective buyers in the area to see it. I say no I called their 800 number for the pool advertised then he has to get his boss on the line Leon who drops the price to $7000.00 a full 11000.00 below the starting price what a rip off but they say this pool doesn't need... • Bad Installation

I had my pool installed last year, and due to the way the pool was installed when I opened the pool this year the sand that the installer had put around the base of the pool had washed out and left pebbles between liner and wall of the pool. The pool is just now a year old and I already have to replace the liner in it directly due to the way the installer set the pool up. Blue World pools is telling me it's my problem and they are going to charge me to come and fix the issue. For the amount of money I paid for the pool and the setup, I should not have issues this soon. Stay away from... More...

  • Blue World Pools Scam

June 26, 2013. Called these fools this past Tuesday June 25th, 2013 about there $299 turn key pool I saw advertised on TV. They went thru all there sales pitch, then setup a appointment with my wife and myself for today Wed). The sales lady who later revealed to us that this was her very first sales call was nice but highly uninformed about the pools she was selling. She told me the $299 pool came with a 90 day warranty. Later after she called her boss Mike who by the way I talked to twice on tuesday told me on the phone in front of his sales person that I was mis-informed that the pool... More...

  • Blue world pools attempted to scam my family.

I called Blue world pools wanting to purchase a $399.00 pool from them. They took my information, gave me an appointment time, then called the next day to cancel. I received in the mail a contract to purchase this $399.00 pool from Blue World Pools. After reading the terms and conditions they wanted me to sign the deed to my property over to them, and get a $300,000.00 life insurance policy payable to them in the event that something happened. At this point I was appalled. What really got my goose cooking was the point if I purchased this pool, and paid the outrages shipping, ($500),... More...

  • Beware of the paperwork for this company!

Be aware! This place is a rip off. Their sales practices are a joke, and their paperwork is very misleading. Do not trust them when you have a question concerning the paperwork and they call the main office. Regardless of what they tell you over the phone, once you sign the documents it's a binding contract. There are cancellation fees of 30% of the price of the pool and after a certain period the cancellation fee is the entire pool cost, not to mention there are documents which indicate that they will put a lien on your house as well as (cause you to lose your house and any money you... • 24' Pool

My experience with Blue World has not been great. We were misled from the very beginning. The salesman came to our house and his presentation was pretty much all lies. We were told our our pool would be a totally complete worry free and chemical free pool. All we would have to use in it was bleach. This turned out to be a big lie. We began getting a foggy pool after about the first month of use. Had the water tested at our local pool store and was told we had to purchase about $150 worth of chemicals. We were also told every year we would have to replace the ionizer which would be... More...

  • Blue World Pools

Don't buy anything they want to sell you. I bought a pool from them last year. The salesman promised to have it installed in 2 weeks. The 2 weeks turned into over a month. The contractor was one man and a boy. I could only use it for one month and then I had to winterize it. This year there are depressions under the liner. Now they want money to send a contractor out to service it. They have no customer service. More...

  • Blue world pools scam

I was informed by my salesman, Chris, that my interest rate would be quoted at 29%, but that it could potentially be lower depending on my credit. After a few days, bwp calls me cback and hassles me to upgrade my pool and add over $20, 000 to my original purchase price, but I would have a lower interest rate. I refused, and Summer directed my call to Kevin, who was very rude and insalting to say the least. Finally, I was given my original agreed upon package, but the interest rate was still quoted at 29%. Very high, but I was planning to pay off pool within first year, so I agreed.... More...

  • Bad customer service

My husband and I sat through the presentation, decided to buy a pool, and give them a post-dated check for the down payment. The never called to tell us whether we were approved for financing or not, so I called them only to find out we were not. I asked about my post dated check, which was not due to go through the bank for another 3 days, and finance dept said they would void it and mail it back to me. Come to find out, the sent it through 5 days later causing almost 90 dollars in overdraft fees. I called them about this and they told me they would cut me a check to reimburse me but... More...

  • Overly Priced Above Ground Pool

This is the complaint I filed with the State of Alabama Attorney General: I had an above ground pool company, Blue World Pools, Inc. to install an overly priced above ground pool on my property June, 2nd 2012. When the city of Evergreen read my electric meter about 4 weeks of the installation, the meter reader, Bobby questioned me about it. He stated that there was not a permit to have the pool installed. The meter reader got a copy of my pool contract and took it back to his office and notified the State of Alabama and found that the pool company had no Alabama State... More...

  • Bad reviews proving to be correct!

I had a guy contact me and when I asked to be removed from the calling list and expressed that I did not wish to continue with receiving info from their company due to bad reviews I had read, he HUNG UP ON ME! Jerk! I guess those reviews are proving to be true! I went to their website and selected to "chat" with a representative, when I told her what happened, she said she apologized and would have my # removed from the calling list. When I told her that I was glad to have done my research before going any further, she said "Thank you, have a nice day" I told her that... More...

  • Blue World Pools "bait and switch"

This is a huge bait and switch, biggest I have EVER seen! From $299 on the website to $21,000 , once they were sitting in my house. Of course they did come down. And down. And down again. It is obvious the $299 was a tease but even the final "offer" was nearly 30 times the tease. And don't fall for the financing - it is 29%! An above ground pool isn't worth anything near that price. Once of their own sales points proves it when they say that your real estate tax evaluation won't go up with an above ground pool. Call your bank and ask how much they will finance on an... More...

  • Blue World Pools Promises!!

I recently bought a Blue World Pool and I feel like I was cheated big time!! I wanted their Midline Pool and I ended up with the Classic Pool. I am paying way too much for this pool! The Vice president gave me a price of approximately just over 7000.00 and it ends up being 14000.00 with me paying back well over 20000.00 after interest! The ladder will not stay where it is suppose to. It has suction cups on bottom to hold it to the bottom and instead it floats! I am having to put 8 gallons of Clorox bleach in it per week! I was told to put 1 per week! Suppose to be chemical free- thats a... More...

BWP is a toal rip off!! As stated above if they see your not going to pay the $20,000+ for there pools then they get on the phone and call Atlanta and get someone on the phone to offer you a show room pool for $8,000 or less...Then when it comes down to getting your pool, financing will call and tell you that the financing company is offering you a better deal for the pool...Instead of the Mid-line your gonna get a Classic for $2000 less and less on interest rate as stated and at the end your will be paying less for the Classic (the best of there pools). Well once they came to install the... More...

  • Bad Company

We called Blue World Pools for the 399.00 and we were told that the shipping alone for that pool was more then the pool it self. That is when Chris told us about all the other pools and things, we came to the price and i told him that i could not afford that. He then called the home base and a price was told to us under what the list price at 30% intrest. Once the price was given and the first set of paper work was signed, they called and was offing a 15% intrest rate but the kicker was they added 5000.00 worth of up grades to get their money back. It was to late by then to cancel the pool.... More...

  • Bad way to do business

Ok, first off, I knew 299.00 was too good to be true. I asked the salesperson before he came out what was the catch? He said none..blah blah..ok then he gets out to the house and DOGS the product he supposed came to sell me. Tells me about fires and cancer etc... Then wants to sell me a 22,000 dollar pool at about 29.99% interest. 457 a month over 12 years...that's roughly 65,808 dollars. Insult to my intelligence. The guy was sorta scary and mean when I told him I wasn't gonna sign up immediatley. I haven't seen this bulls++t scam in years. STAY AWAY!! Salesman wasn't... More...

This company is terrible. Their adevertising is a scam. They advertise a pool for $399.00. What a joke. We knew that $399.00 was too good to be true, but were interested in their higher quality pools. The sales rep. sold us a 24 foot pool that would not work in our backyard due to the placement of the powerlines. Long story short, they would not work with us and we ended up with a much smaller pool for not much less money. They were rude, unwilling to work with us and threatened to put a lein on our home if we did not take the smaller pool. We took it because we did not have the... More...

I filled out the online request form for more information on Blue World Pools. I have an above ground pool, but thought I might replace it with a newer one. I asked to be contacted during the afternoon. I felt stalked by this company. I received a call at 8:56pm, 8:59pm, 9:58am, 10:11am, 12:11am and again at 12:30am. Within a little more than a 16-hour span. I had asked to be removed from their call list, as I no longer want to do business them. More...

We knew we had a 3 day window so we called they took another chunk of money off and my husband said to check it out with what are interest rate would be they said it would take 3 days (see the pattern there). • We were SCAMMED!

Saw the ad on TV advertising $299 pool, too good to be true, but we were curious. Called and they came out July 5th. The salesman was at my house from 6pm-10pm, he even at dinner with my family--nice guy! Well that $299 pool turned into at $22,000 pool. Preapprove, Cut us a deal ($10,000 off) to have a show pool for 4 years. Sounds GREAT! Wrote them a check for $200 as a deposit. Then next morning, we decided pool was still too expensive so we read our contract which stated we had 3 days to cancel with a certified letter. I called and the man I spoke with informed me that a letter... More...

  • THE REVIEWS WERE A LIFE SAVER

First I just want to say thanks for the reviews you all just saved my husband, myself, and our five children thousands of dollars. I had an appointment on Friday and on Thursday night I decided to see if there were any reviews on this company. The rep had asked for mine and my husbands birthdate to see if our land was in our name so I gave it to her. I read on the reviews that this is how they check your credit report ILLEGAL.. When I called to cancel the appointment and asked if they checked my credit report she said that she told me she did. I told her that she did not tell me that... More...

  • Blue World Pools WHAT A JOKE!

From the start, the sales pitch is cheesy. The salesman read straight out of a notebook. Scare tactics, mostly about the dangers and costs of chlorine, which are completely unbelievable, like chlorine is what blew up the government building in Oklahoma - all those children died! He said chlorine would cost 200.00 a month with any other pool. Salesman kept calling his "sales manager" negotiating prices. Price started at 19,000 (!) and somehow talked him down to 8,000. Finally, I got an opportunity to talk to the mgr. He said I, the customer, should feel guilty about wasting the... More...

We too saw the cheap pool advertised on TV and figured they were making money in bulk. We called and they canceled on us 3 different times. When he finally did come, he was driving a broken down car and a Hawaiian shirt, very cheesy. He told my husband that the site prep would be expensive (we have a flat yard) and that they didn't do that. Then he started telling him the advertised pool wasn't very good, thin liner, would cost a fortune in chemicals, but the midline pool was great with a lifetime warranty, even on the liner. Cost? 18,000. How do you go from 399 to 18,000?... More...

  • TWO THUMBS DOWN

Blue World Pools has been advertised on television, which I called them TWICE last summmer, TWICE this summer, and sent an e-mail last week, and also called their 1-800 #. I have NEVER been called back, and when I called their 800 #, the man (which sounded like a person in the warehouse from his statements) said "we are getting ready to leave, can you call back next week!" unbelieveable! We wanted to purchase a 27 ft round pool, NOT a CHEAP ONE, and can't even get them to e-mail or call back for over a year.....NO purchase from us...EVER!!!!! More...
